Aviation Performance Solutions LLC (APS Europe) is an advanced flight training organization dedicated to the comprehensive mitigation of Loss of Control In-Flight (LOC-), the leading cause of aviation fatalites, to improve global air safety. APS Europe has pioneered the aviation industry in the delivery of a comprehensive, integrated approach, in the provision of quality-assured; academic, on-aircraft and simulator-based Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) solutions. The on-going long-term intent of APS efforts are the reduction in Loss of Control In-Flight (LOC-I) incidents and enhancement in pilot knowledge, manual handling skills, systems management, overall performance and day-to-day airmanship.
Furthermore, APS is committed to working with regulators, insurance agencies, industry leaders, airplane manufacturers and safety managers on their UPRT-related goals of establishing standardization, quality assurance, effective instructional methodologies and industry-dictated upset recovery instructor pilot experience and qualification minimum requirements. Full compliance to the principles and teachings of the internationally recognized Airplane Upset Recovery Training Aid, along with other official industry guidance, are the crucial elements of the APS air safety mission.
